Roleplay has always served as a way for many to escape reality, create new stories and build bonds that go on to last for years at times. Groups have long since been a way for people to do these things in a more structured manner. The Invincible verse requires one to carry the torch and lead the way. We are that group.

#GUARDTHEGLOBE is an RP group set within the #MVRP space based on the hit tv series/comic Invincible. We have an overarching goal: to tell detailed, gripping stories set in the Invincible verse, build connections amongst the various other RP groups, and continue to put on for a series that many of us have come to enjoy. Our mantra is as follows: Imagine that you were given both your character and a task: To shoot for the moon and hope to land somewhere amongst the stars. To always aim higher, and achieve greatness. Tell the stories you want to tell with people willing to support you along the way.The final issue of Invincible was published on February 14, 2018. Though the tv series is currently running, it too will eventually come to an end. We, the fans, are the ones left to carry the torch. To continue on with the foundation that was laid and tell new stories. To keep moving forward and push the series to new bounds. Together.

ㅤ1ㅤ All potential writers who wish to join are required to be 21+. Under no circumstances will a minor be allowed to join the group. NSFW themes are a key point in the Invincible series ranging from gore to rape. It is for this reason and many others that this rule is put in place.

ㅤ2ㅤ When in a thread, you cannot have your character in two places at once save for those who can reasonably do so given their skillset/powers (examples would be Duplikate and her doubles or Robot and his drones). If your muses' presence is necessary in another ongoing thread, it must be stated IC that they are leaving lest the other chain is set at an entirely different point in time.

ㅤ3ㅤ The standard limit for response time without directly communicating with the admin team is 2-3 days. The longest amount of time we are willing to grant anyone is a week, save for any extreme cases. Should you have something come up where you must take a bit longer or step away from writing entirely, please kindly inform any of our three leaders. We are not ignorant to the fact that this is a hobby at the end of the day, however we do believe that it is no one's best interest to have their time wasted. All we ask is that you reach out and keep us in the loop.

ㅤ4ㅤ Going back to the previous rule: You will be skipped over in threads if you leave your writing partners waiting for extended periods without directly telling them or the admins that you need extra time for whatever reason. We operate on a three strikes rules here. If you are skipped over three times in a row, your character will be out of the thread. Inactivity without communication with any members or admins will grant you a strike, of which you are only granted two. Should this happen a third time, the admin team will take whatever actions they feel neccesary.

ㅤ5ㅤ You will be granted two muses to be used within the group, one as your primary member and one extra to fill out the ranks. Only one will be allowed in the GC. Your secondary will only be allowed to stick around lest someone else comes who wishes to claim them as their own main muse. Primary characters cannot and will not be shifted around unless you yourself wish to swap them out.

ㅤ6ㅤ While Invincible is a series known for it's emphasis on brutal action, this group is not the place for needless power scaling debates. Cohesive storytelling will be prioritized above all else. Should your character need to take a loss, it will be done without a debate. This is within reason of course, but the fact still remains: don't be afraid to take an L. Mark Grayson does it all the time.

ㅤ7ㅤ Keep whatever drama you may have going on to yourself. We are not here for you to push your personal problems onto, whether that be in the form of callout posts or being shady towards certain writers you may have issues with. Chill out and write, handle that shit on your own time in your own space.
